I have an idea for a business customized, rather personalized one of a kind high end gifts.

I have a friend who does websites and is willing to work with me. I have the ability to do the marketing and the customization of the gifts.

I am working to get the idea together and build a product list to do a feasability study.

What do you think? The products would have custom content and not be available online. Something like, 'A Walk Down Memory Lane' 25th Wedding anniversery. If I offered to create a one of a kind gift using photographs you sent in and based on a concept that appeals to you would you be willing to pay extra for it?

It depends...if you have previous examples of work that you've done similar to this (that the consumer can see) then I would.

The idea is novel. However, as long as the product is available, there would be some people who would have the need for it. Supply creates its own demand.

Actually all businesses first started as a thought, as an idea, and with the entrepreneur willing to take a risk because of that idea.

That you have the ability to do the marketing is a plus factor. The secret of any business is marketing. Maybe it is good if you try it with your friends first, and when it is successful, to launch your customized product to your target market. You can create a niche for it also.
